After upgrading I can't print text in Word

A computer running Windows2000 uses Word 2002 and it has been working
just fine with our printer. Today we upgraded Internet Explorer to Ver. 6.0.
After that upgrade we can't print any text in Word or Excel. Graphics
print. The printer looks like it's printing but the page is blank except no
text.
Printing text works with Notepad. Help !

Check with the support for the printer to see if they have a new driver
first: then delete and reinstall the printer driver. I don't see how
updating IE would affect printing from Word or Excel: I'm just guessing that
it has somehow corrupted the printer driver.
