Again on Calendar

Sorry I have already posted this once and got no reply I am in the wrong
place should I post this in a different section?
Thank you,
Lorenzo

Hello, I have an application to keep track of apartments's bookings. I have
it fully functional but I would like to add a feature and I would like to
have some guidelines for the implementation. Basically I have a reservation
table and an apartment table and I would like to have a calendar that shows
with different colors when the dates are booked and maybe also departure
days with another different color. I am currently using the great Leban's
calendar but unfortunately this one is not suitable for my case. I have to
go for another calendar that will allow me to access properties so I can
change them accordingly. Do you have any suggestion on which would be the
indicated calendar to use and maybe some tips on how to implement this
solution. I would like to display the current 12 months of the year so a
calendar that shows them all would be great.

I already have a routine that checks whereas the dates are taken or not I
could adapt it to match the calendar.
Thank you in advance
Lorenzo

I expect that most of us that read through this NG don't have a working,
Access only solution. There are third party components that might fit your
needs and probably cost much less than your time to build something. Check
http://www.dbi-tech.com/.

Thank for the info, I have seen one that suits my case, will I be able to
use it as on ocx and set properties and methods with VBA from access?
I will send them an email as well to get more info, many thanks!

It's been a while since I "played" with their stuff but I believe many of
the components can be used (and properties set) in Access.
