I have used this for years and it has been invaluable, but I have found a
problem using it in a new database. Until recently, the GuiWordTemplate
worked OK, but it is now giving, on loading, 'Run-time error 2176. the
setting for this property is too long.' The code is
Me1stFiles.RowSource=strListBox in Sub LoadListDir(). On clicking 'End' the
form opens but with no templates shown. Trying Add Template gives file not
found.

Can Albert advise?

Dudley,

That indicates that the text is greater then 255. Is that what the problem
is?

Gina,

Yes you are right. The problem was that I had so many documents in the Word
folder that the file names went over 255 characters.
