alert email notifications broken in PS2007

Hi all,

It used to all work fine, i created an alert for, say, a task, updated the
task and immediately i got the email alert (i set the notification to send
immediately when anything changed)... About a month ago for some reason we
cleared the SMTP email server field in server settings so no emails went out.
Now we re-populated that field but are not getting email notifications for
alerts.... What are we missing??? is there anything that needs to be
restarted?? please advise.

Hi PedroJose,

Just taking a stab at it. You can try to re-start the project server even
service or possibly the iis to see it if could help.

Are you using a remote SMPT Service?
