Alert others to changed information

Is there a way I can alert others i work with that information has changed or
that they need look at something?

I have been searching for a way to bring better communication to my
co-workers with a program that would give details about jobs we have started
(we are in retail/commercial manufacturing). OneNote answered that call, but
with so many tabs for so many jobs people aren't aware that information has
been updated or that they might need to update information. Is there a way
that an "explanation point" or something can be added to at tab so that other
know to look there. It has become difficult to search through all that
information to find out if anyone needs something or if something has
changed.

Please give suggestions! If this can't be done, please think about it for
future updates or upgrades.

Thank you!

There is an API that you could use to pull out the notebook data as XML,
compare the change date stamps against some known date. But there's no way
that I know of to do it within OneNote. Also if you keep files on a
SharePoint server, SharePoint document libraries can be configured to notify
members when documents change.

No, there's no way have this done automatically.
You'd have to do this manually, f.e. by inserting date/time for items
being changed.

You may post this as a suggestion for the next version in "Connect",
