In-house we get all of our alerts just fine, but outside of our netowrk our
nobody recieves them and I don't get error messages saying so. Any idea
what's happening?

You need to address this at your mail server. The settings must permit mail
relay to the outside world.

SMTP settings are such that relaying is allowed from the WSS server IP
address (which is also the SBS/Exchange server)

Eddie:

If the system is sending alerts, the system is sending alerts. It's rather
unthinkable that anything on the Project Server side is going selectively
fail to send alerts based on the domain in the email address. So, where are
they going? Well, mail servers are designed to selectively block and/or
route email based on all sorts of rules. If I were you, I'd continue to
investigate your Exchange settings.

I thought that this might be a common problem . It's frustrating to have
problems that are above one's head and have such terse comments as a response.

My comments weren't meant as terse; I'm trying to get you pointed in the
right direction. If you prefer that I don't reply to your future posts, I'm
more than happy to comply.
