Aligh Shapes By Connection Points

A

andrewLLL

Hi,

Is there a way of aligning shapes by their designated
connection points, not by the shapes? Let's say I have two
square shapes A and B, a connection point in A at
(Width*0.5, height*0.2) and a connection point in B at
(width * 0.5, height * 0.8). I want to aligh A and B so
that these two connection points are in the same horizonal
level? Thanks.

One way is, in the shapesheet for both squares...
1. Set LocPinY same as Y of connection points in each square.
2. Set PinY as same between squares.
If your visio is 2003, you could record the operations and make VBA macro.
