Align graphic in word 2007, after rotate

I'm trying to align 2 graphic in word 2007 (SP2).
First I rotate 90° one graphic
then I select both graphics and then I selct "Align" - "Bottom" (for example).
The object doesn't align.
This problem is present only when the graphic are rotated before the align.
Is a bug of word 2007?
