In Word 2002, I am having a problem with tables. I am trying to insert a row from one table into another table. Both the original table and the inserted row have the same number of columns. When inserted, the columns of the new row don't match the columns of the original table. I try to drag the column width of the inserted portion to match the original table, but I can't get the lines to coincide. It seems like the column width moves in discrete units. I've tried changing units from inches to points to centimeters, etc. with no luck. I've also changed the zoom to try to get better accuracy but still have no luck. Is there a way to force the column width to align? I've also tried selecting the column and going under table properties to specify the width of the column, but it still won't align the inserted row.
