Aligning controls

Is there a really good way to align controls on forms? The size for
labels is slightly different than it is for text boxes and Align
Top/Bottom doesn't seem to really work.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

If I understand what you're asking, hold the SHIFT key down and select the
boxes you wish to align and then chose the particular alignment function you
desire.

Thanks. I understand how to use the alignment functions, but they
don't seem to do what they should. What I want to do is, for example,
make a combo box and a text box the same size and align the tops.
Access seems to make the combo box a little taller even though I have
selected "same size" setting. Then the alignment is a little off
because the controls are not really the same size.

I haven't found that text boxes and their attached labels are different
sizes. However you should be able to select the label and the textbox, use
Format, Size, to tallest. Then you can align them top/bottom.
