Aligning Option Buttons on a page

Hello,
I am trying to add option buttons to a page in Word2007. It will be
something like this:

5). Are you bondable? Yes No

Where Yes and No would be the option buttons. The issue is that the buttons
align with the top of the line, whereas the text is aligned with the bottom.
Here's what I've tried:

In the control properties, there's no "Top," which is how I would fine tune
the postioning. I also couldn't drag the control, nor did I see a vertical
alignment button on the ribbon.

So I right clicked the controls and selected "Format Control/Layout
Tab/Advanced/Text Wrapping Tab" and "In Line with Text" was the one already
selected. All of the options on the "Picture Position" tab were grayed out.
So I selected "Square" on the Text Wrapping Tab which allowed me access to
the options on the Picture Position tab. This allowed me to position the
Option Buttons at the bottom of the line.

Unfortunately, now that they are aligned properly, you can now select BOTH
buttons. The group property on both buttons is equal, but both can be True
at once, which kind of defeats the purpose of using option buttons over check
boxes.

If anyone has any suggestions on how I can align the buttons with the text
and still have them function as option buttons, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Put the question and the option button in separate cells of a table and set
the vertical text alignment for the question to centre.
