Aligning things

I use Visio 2000 on a Wndows XP machine, I often draw up forms for work and
find Visio very useful for this, I tend to use Info box to put it together
and while there is most likely a better way this is the way/habit I have got
into. Sometimes the outlines are not needed but when I do use an outline I
spend a lot of time lining up the outlines of individual info boxes, my
question - is there an easy/automatic way to line up a lot of info box
outlines ? - I am aware of select and align but this is not that much of a
time saver when you have both down the page and across to align - like cells
in a table.
Regards,
Tony

You can get a lot of mileage out of snap to grid/rulers. Even better are
guides. Just pull on the rulers and you'll get purple horizontal or vertical
guides. You can glue shapes to these. Shapes that should be lined up can be
glued to the same guide. Then you can adjust their positions just by moving
the guide.
