In PowerPoint 2007 there are 8 chart layouts. The problem is with chart
layout 5 when it is applied to “3-D clustered column†charts.
When I run the slide show, the alignment of the horizontal categories
changes and moves out of its proper place. Each time I run the slide show,
the alignment becomes more and more distorted until the horizontal categories
overlap with the vertical series.
Steps in PowerPoint 2007:
1. Insert “3-D Clustered Column†chart
2. Select chart and go to Chart Tools menu/Design Tab/Chart layout group
3. Select layout 5
4. Run slide show (3-4 times)
Each time you run the slide show the horizontal categories will overlap the
vertical series.
How can this alignment problem be corrected?
