alignment problem

Hi guys
I have designed my website using layout tables. It was all working fine on my
drive until I changed my monitor. Now the website seems to be falling all
over the place. This new monitor has got a different screen resolution.
Therefore the main layout table in my site stretches in an awkward way. I put
my logo in the centre of my table but its no longer aligned centrally. I set
the width to 100% .

Is there a work around for that??

Different monitors runs at different resolutions and people have their
browser windows at different sizes. Design your pages to take that
into account.

Hi Jen

So how do I set the width of my table to fit all screen sizes??

Thanks

So how do I set the width of my table to fit all screen sizes??

One way to do it is to make a table of fixed width (I use around 600
pixels) and put everything on a page inside it. And then don't put
anything (such as a too-wide image or forcing cell sizes within the
table too large) inside the table that would force the table to go
wider.

Such a page will be quite large on a monitor with low resolution
settings, and seem small on one with higher resolution settings, but
folks using those settings have good enought eyes to read the smaller
appearing text or they wouldnt use those settings. So not to worry --
