Alignment

Are there text alignment (left, right, centered) icons or quick keys? If
so, how do I add them to the formatting toolbar?

Ctrl-L for Left
Ctrl-E for Center
Ctrl-R for Right

The buttons are available. To add them to the formatting toolbar, click the
little down-arrow at the end of the toolbar, then Add/Remove buttons,
Formatting, then check the boxes next to the buttons you want.
