All characters move to left margin

Why? Every now and then all the characters in one of my word documents moves
to the left margin. If I change the font from New Times Roman to Arial, the
characters return to their correct position. But, I use New Times Roman as
my default font. Where do I begin to figure this out?

This is usually a problem with Word talking to the printer driver. Check
that you have the latest driver from the printer manufacturer's support
site, then delete and reinstall the printer setting it as Windows default.
Test to see if it still has the same problem.
