all dates stretched over 2 days??

I have an interesting issue with my outlook calandar. I recently shipped my
computer from Germany to the US during a PCS move for the Army. When I got
the computer home and set up, everything seemed to be working fine.
However, when I opened up Outlook and used the calandar, all my dates had
been stretched over 2 days (for instance, christmas now runs from the 24th
to the 25th of december, birthdays are now stretched over 2 days, etc etc.)
I really can't see any reason why moving the computer would do this, but it
is the only thing that has changed since the last time i used Outlook that i
can think of.

Anyhow, I remember someone else reporting this issue a loooooong time ago in
this newsgroup, but could not find the message in a search. Does anyone
have any tips on fixing this issue? I really don't want to have to
completely erase all dates and reload them into Outlook. Any help is
greatly appreciated!

It's the time zone change that caused this. See the following MSKB article
for more information:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;281035&Product=out

If you have a lot of events and don't want to change the times manually, see
if the workaround listed in the following MSKB article works for you:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290835&Product=ol2002

You'll need to change the time zone back to the one you were using in
Germany before you start the procedure, in order for it to work properly.
