All Day Events: display a banner instead of 12:00am

In Outlook 2003, when I enter a new "all day event" on the calendar, it
displays the event on the weekly or monthly view as occurring at "12:00am."
In my old Outlook (I think it was 1998), it would display a banner: a box at
the top of the relevant day with the event title but no time. Outlook Help
seems to say that this is how Outlook 2003 should behave too---but I cannot
get it to do it right. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Ben

That might be right. But this happens every time---I can't get it to *not*
convert to a timed event. And when I re-open the event (displayed as 12:00am
in the calendar), the "all day event" box is still checked. How can I get
Outlook to display an all day event as an untimed event?

Thanks.
Ben
