All day events not in Bold

Hi
If an appointment or birthday is set as an all day event. And if one is in day view, it appears in the daily view ie left pane but is not bold on the monthly calender view (ie right pane).
This is a real pane (sorry about the pun
Also when synchronising with my phone only events and appointments that are not all day events are transferred
Is there a fix for thi

I have a similar problem. The events eventually show up in bold, but only after several (often 10+) seconds. I do not have a large number of events, so I wouldn't think that it's simply an issue of the calender database needing to be loaded. Is there any way to speed this up?
