All Document Page Numbers Are Unexpectedly Changed to 0 (Zero)

I have been trying to get in touch with someone at Microsoft for days to get
the fix listed here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;292158, as all the
page numbers in my 100-page document are listed as "0".

Because of high call volume due to the Blaster worm I haven't been able to
get through to MS on the phone, which is what the KB article says to do. If
anyone had this problem before and knows how to get the fix, I would sure
appreciate it.

Hi Lotta,

You can workaround the problem by moving the graphic out of the table.

Otherwise you'll have to contact MS to obtain the patch.

Hi,

The workarounds described in the FAQ are not acceptable.

All of our docs have a table and grapic in the header.
All of our docs worked fine with Word 2000 but are having
problems with Word 2002.

How do you actually get the patch?!

It is possible to have a table and a graphic in the header provided the
graphic is anchored to a paragraph (and there *will* be one) outside the
table. You get the patch by following the instructions in the KB article:
put in a service call to MS and ask for it.
