After reinstalling my dev environment following a drive failure, all my
Infopath forms fail with the error, "InfoPath cannot open the selected form
because of an error in the form's code. A floating attribute may not be
passed as the context node for an XSLT transform or an XPath query."
My forms are InfoPath 2003 SP2, with VSTO 2005. The error seems to happen
before the managed code ever gets involved. The only difference I can think
of between this environment and the old one is that in addition to VS 2005, I
also have installed VS 2003 on this machine.
Has anyone seen this error?
