All my text gets strikethrough

L

Lon

The problem:
I highlight a line of text, go to Format, select Font, check
"Strikethrough"...
.... and ALL my text gets lined through;
so I hit the "Undo Typing" button, and the "strikethroughs" go away, except
for the line I originally highlighted.

Why is this happening? How can I correct it?

side note: If I have a header, it strikes through in the header, AND ADDS
LINES!

please help...

What you are encountering is due to a style that is set to automatically
update. Place your insertion point in an area that exhibits the behavior, go
to Format/Style. The style that is currently in use should be selected in
the Modify Style dialog box. Click Modify and at the bottom, click the
"Automatically Update" check box. If this is happening on all documents then
select "Add to template".
