All my Word documents look like Wordpad documents

Always Need Help

Suddenly my computer thinks that all of my documents created in Word 2007
(and saved as Word 2003) are Wordpad documents, including documents on a data
stick. When I open those documents on another computer, they show as Word
documents as normal. What can I do?

From Start, Run type in

winword /r

and press enter. That will reregister Word in Windows and correct the
assignment.
