all Office 2003 aps want to reinstall

Whenever I click an icon to start one of my Office 2003 aps like Word or
Excel, it asks me to install. What has happened? I have used these for
years....

Hi Peter, thanks for the reply. I have run that Windows Install CleanUp
program again (I had it already). Who knows? Jeff

Hi. I'm getting further. Now it will start an install but doesn't give me a
Repair choice - it just starts an install. I haven't uninstalled since it
won't. It runs a while then errors out with Error 1311 Source file not found:
C:MSOCache\All Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9\E35611406.CAB.
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
When I click OK it reverses and undoes the installing it has begun.
Help.

Hi. I've tried it all. Retry doesn't work. I have xp sp3 so I'm ok there.
Somewhere I read about putting in the cd but have it not run setup.exe and
copy all the files to a new folder somewhere then run setup.exe. I can't seem
to do this, after numerous tries, since my pc freezes while trying to right
click the cd icon and choose All then copy to I can put the files on my cd to
run the setup.exe manually. My pc with viewsonic keyboard has some FilterKeys
thing on right side shift that keeps me from being able to copy the disc on
my c drive. It won't shutoff or cancel or change settings - or I can't do it.

Hi. I've got to take a break from this. It is wearing me down badly. Sorry.
Thanks for your input to date.
It seems like I am hosed. Office applications won't work and my pc freezes
when I right click on my c drive in My Computer.....
