I have run Office diags and detect/repair to no avail.
I am running Vista SP2 x64 Ultimate Eval Build 6002.

Any assistance would be appreciated - thanks ahead of time!

I submitted a full repair of Office 2007 Ultimate under Control
Panel/Deinstall-Change...no mitigation...I still cannot run ANY Office
Application. I have gone through all recent Windows Updates manually and
installed every Vista64-relevant updates I could find, ran disk clean-up, ran
PC Doc Pro scans, ran full Trend Micro Internet Security Pro scans, ran
Windows Malicious scan, stopped WinMail, stopped TMicro Spam filter, and have
found nothing. I'm pretty much at a stalemate at this juncture.

Hello LoMiPo

Registered to back you up that I'm having the same problem. If I find a solution I'll post back if you promise to do the same!

Good luck

Thanks, Roger! I believe that a xC0000005 is an access error, so I tried to
run Outlook under adminsitrative ownership, but it did not help the
situation. So now I have to assume (based on my modicum of Windows software
knowledge), that we are not getting valid binary run-time entry points for
our Office applications. I further assume that it being common to everything
in Office, that something like a DLL library was un-registered or a Registry
pointer was dissolved from the security updates in MS10-17.

Yes, it fixes the issue!! Just install KB980210, which repairs a .NET 4.0
advance support addition for Office that was included in KB977724.

I'd thought that I'd get a notification that there was a reply so I missed your post last night. I only saw it in another result on Google today!

And it worked for me too! Thanks very much for replying LoMiPo!
