All Office applications should be able to convert handwriting fro.

Only Onenote software has the capability to convert handwritten text from the
digital pen to typed text. All Office software needs to have that capability.
Currently, every product has the ability to the best of my knowledge to acept
handwritten text into the application like Onenote, but every product also
needs to be able to convert the handwritten text into typed text like Onenote
does. It seems kind of strange Microsoft allowed this feature in Microsoft
Office products to be overlooked. I paid a lot of money to buy the 2003
Office suite because it has the ability to accept handwritten text which is
very conducive to my teaching job, but I was really upset to find out that
the Microsoft Office suite cannot change the handwrittten text to typed text
like ONenote does. I felt like MIcrosoft office for the first time has really
robbed me so to speak. MIcrosoft should be ashamed of themselves. I work as a
teacher in Joliet and it really burns me up to think I will have to pay
Microsoft again by buying another revision of Office that has that capability
to convert handwritten text to typed text.

Well, I completely agree with you. I am currently in the Market for a Tablet
PC, and was wondering if the Office Software would accept the handwritten
input. I dont really need all the jazz from OneNote, but was wondering how
much success you have had trying to write/draw diagrams into Word. Thanks.
