All office programs quit on Project Gallery

I'm using Office X on my Powerbook (10.4.4). This just started to
happen.

When I open an Office app (Word, Excel, PPT) and select project
gallery, the program quits. I've repaired permissions, reinstalled the
templates and run diskwarrior to check out my drive. No success.

I can open individual template files, but not the project gallery. Any
suggestions?

Probably corrupt settings/preferences files for Office, at a guess.

Thanks Daiya,

i think it was the carbon registration database. All fixes up until
that point hadn't worked.
