All Office programs shut down when performing certain actions

L

lfheb

Whenever I attempt to change anything (ESP. PRINT MENU) in any of my office
programs, that office program shuts down. I receive the message that the
program has encountered an error and needs to close - with the checked box to
restart the program. I first noticed it in Outlook, which, to my knowledge
is the program that has the most problems.
I am using Office 2003 Professional
Also, I noticed that I had two Office suites on my computer (student and
teacher, and professional); so I uninstalled both; and then reinstalled
Office Pro. And ever since, I have the above mentioned issues.
Reverting back to the Print Menu... I AM able to change the printer whenever
I go to the Page Setup Menu; and I can print from there.
My outlook also shuts down when I try to change the font in the signatures
menu.
....Strange - Your advice is always appreciated.

Thank you,
Luke

What printer do you have set as the default printer?

And do you have the printer drivers installed locally, or are they on a
network?

Just a quick update on this. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printers with
the latest and greatest drivers; and everything seems to be working just fine
now. THe only problem I am having is with outlook.
Whenever I attempt to change the Signatures in outlook it crashes and then
restarts... as well as the background in my calendars. Is this something you
can help me with?
THanks for the help,
Luke

I'm glad to hear that solved part of the problem, at least. I don't know the
answer to the Outlook-specific question, though.

You might want to post a new question that focuses just on the Outlook
issues.
