All outlook data disappeared with no trace

OUTLOOK XP DELETED ALL MY ACCOUNT INFO AND E-MAILS WITHOUT
REASON.

One moment I was typeing a memo and nthe next momnet I'm
all outlook data is gone. I tried searching for the my
PST. file info the C:\WINDOWS\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook directory and found nothing. I
rebooted my system to start fresh and outloopk asked me
install the program.

Make sure you're searching in hidden/system folders, and the default
location is C:\documents and settings\<username>\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook

Just check if there won't be a virus who's got active on your pc?
If Outlook cannot find the pst-file on the original location, then it either
has been moved or (just) deleted for some reason... My first thougths were
that it sounds like an active virus, but maybe it isn't...
