All pages open in Excel

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

Every time I open Excel EVERY document opens! What setting changes that? I have tried everything but what's gonna work. It's so annoying. HELP!

Launch Excel while holding Shift, then go to Excel> Preferences> General &
clear whatever you have indicated for "At startup, open all files in:_____".
