All Programs gone

Hello I was updating Office and my battery was low so I stopped... Now
no ofiice programs run. When I click on them just a ? shows up. As
well if I update software it says its all good. Please Help.

Hi,

It sounds like the Office Update utility was interrupted at a point where it
had tossed away old parts and had not yet installed new parts of Office.

Run the Remove Office utility from the install disc and then start over with
a fresh install of office. It will be simpler to start fresh than trying to
figure out which pieces managed to get updated and which ones were not.

you do not have to worry about your office setting while reinstalling
- the settings occupy MUD folder - sitting in ~home/ducuments/MUD
But it is always good idea to have Normal template and your setting
backuped. That should be the No. 1 rule for using computers -
backup,backup..., You never know, what happens.
