Can't seem to get enough of strange Access behaviors lately...
I have a database that has been in use for about a year. Recently I've
lost the ability to open any report. The reports flicker on to the
screen for a split second (or something does, have to assume it's the
report) and then its' gone. If I try to run the report starting from
design mode, I end up back in design mode. I have decompiled multiple
times. I have exported the entire database to a new db. All references
are fine. I've rem'd any code that could be running in the reports. And
finally, even a bare-bones report built by the report wizard fails to
open.
Win2k sp4, Access 2000 sp3.
I wonder if a patch to Office XP messed this up. I see the problem on
machines that have both Office 2000 and Office XP (sp2) installed but
not on the one machine I have that runs only Office 2000.
