All text boxes migrate to bottom of page when saving file.

Whenever I save my file, all the text migrates to the bottom of page and not
in proper location. What am I doing wrong?

What type of drawing are you working with and what version of
Visio are you using?

Hi Mark,

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I am using Microsoft Visio 2000 SR1
6.0.2072. I am using just a standard drawing template that looks like a
matrix. I am filling in text in each box. When I save the document and open
it again, all the text precipitates to the bottom of the drawing.

Thanks,
Matt

I seem to recall a problem with the Cross Functional flowchart drawings in
Visio 2000 like this. Unfortunately I don't know if that was resolved by a
patch for Visio 2000. This particular problem was corrected in later
versions of Visio.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

One side point, Matt.

You have the oldest version of Visio that qualifies for an upgrade and the
next version is scheduled for release early next year.
No guarantee, but there MAY be a grace period when the next version is
released to get a free* upgrade to Visio 2007 if you upgrade to Visio 2003.
