Allow Keychain Popup

I just installed the most recent Office update

Microsoft Entourage wants to use your confidential info stored in "pop.gmail.com" in your keychain. Do you want to allow access to this item?" (It also happens for my Yahoo mail account.)

I have tried responding by clicking Allow and Always Allow, and the message keeps popping up every time Entourage tries to access the server.

Based on instructions in another post, I viewed the Keychain Access Control: 'Allow all applications to access this item' is unchecked; 'Confirm before allowing access' is checked, and 'Ask for Keychain psswd" is unchecked. I also verified that MS Entourage is listed in the box 'Always allow access by these applications'.

Mail is still working, but these pop-ups are very annoying.

Common problem. Try deleting the info in the Keychain. Now test in
Entourage, It will ask to confirm, then test again to see if it stuck. If
not, delete again in the Keychain and then delete the account in Entourage
(not just the data but the account). This should stick.

For good measure, run Keychain FirstAid.

Deleting the info in the Keychain solved the problem. I restarted Entourage, ran Send/Receive, entered my mail psswds, and clicked the box to save them to the Keychain. Thanks very much!
