Allow spell checker to ignore web and email addresses

T

Tim Wooley

PowerPoint won't let me ignore all the hyperlinks in my presentation, because
it claims I've reached the limit on words to ignore. If MS Office tools
allowed me to tell it not to spelling check email addresses and web site
addresses I could save time in building and proofing my presentations and
other documents.
Thank you.

Hi Tim,

What version fo Powerpoint are you using?

For workarounds, you can use the Tools=>Autocorrect choice to
convert Internet addresses to hyperlinks. In general hyperlink text is ignored in spell check in Powerpoint 2003.

As another workaround, if you'd rather not have the text appear as hyperlinks, is to select the text you want to skip during a
spell check and then use Tools=>Language to apply the (no proofing) option to that text.
