I agree that using Web Services and Database connections are the best way to
transfer form submissions, but consider doing the same with standard web
forms. For example, if your company uses a web form (not Web Services) based
expense report system, then it would be great to use InfoPath to import the
web form information into InfoPath, fill out the form offline, then allow
InfoPath to submit the form information to the web site once connected again.
I wanted to use InfoPath for this purpose because I have several web forms
that I need to fill out while offline with customers and it would help
tremendously to have the web forms offline.
