Allow users to turn off just the date auto-complete, please?

I know it can't be done without turning off the entire auto-complete feature,
so I'm not expecting replies and suggestions, I just want to suggest to
Microsoft that they incorporate this change in future versions of
Office/Word. I use auto complete a lot, but the date drives me INSANE.
Especially when I accidentally let one slip through and I don't notice it
until after I've sent my letter...

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE allow us to at least delete the date auto-complete
from the list, like I deleted the To Whom It May Concern: so I could add the
same text but in all caps.

Thanks!

In the meantime, you might want to consider using a letterhead template that
contains a CreateDate field so that you aren't typing your dates. See
http://addbalance.com/word/datefields1.htm for information on the different
kinds of datefields and how to format them.

Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you
want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages.
http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm This gives step-by-step
instructions.
