AllowFullMenus

I've inherited a db where the menus are locked down, even
the right click menus. I can't get into tools-->startup to
modify the settings. I've tried bypassing with the
shiftkey with no luck. I can't seem to find any code that
is disabling the menus. Does a quick and dirty solution
exist?

You are talking about a mdb file right? If you are talking about a mde file,
then the source of the forms etc don't exist, and you can't get in anyway.

If it just the shifkey by pass, the you can give my example code a try, and
see if it lets your un-lock the by-pass.

The above code will work if the shift stuff was not set with security.
