Allowing alternate designers

I have a form which I publish to a SharePoint website. Some of the fields
have drop down lists. I am the primary designer of the form(s). I would like
to allow alternate users to be able to modify the form to make
additions/deletions to the drop down data. They do not have the option to
enter design mode, what do I need to do to be able to have "multiple form
designer".

Thanks,

Tom

Hi,

Do you mean desining the form simaltaniously or making changes to the form
after publishing to the SharePoint. In case if it is after publishing to
SharePoint opening the form is design mode changes can be done by editing the
from template.

This is after publishing to SharePoint. The user has desgn rights to the SP
document library and they are still unable to open the template I published
in design mode.

Why don't you try storing the items for the drop down lists in a custom list
in SharePoint, you can then connect to this list from your form.
Your users can then simply add items to the sharepoint list and they will
appear in the form.

Hope this helps

Cheers,

Ben,

I do have lists in SP that I pull from. My boss wants the ability to makes
changes to the form in other places. I am going on a extended leave for 1
year and he needs the ability to re-design if needed. I goes to network
neighborhood and locates the form librbary. He then right clicks on
"template.xsn and selects design. It comes back with and error and he is
unable to edit the form.
