Allowing *.exe & *.cmd etc file to sync

Hi,

Here I am trying out Groove for the first time and I am excited by it. Looks
like it will do what I want. Almost immediately I find that it will not sync
*.exe, *.cmd and a host of other extentions. I cannot find a way to modify
the files that should not be sync'ed. Can it be changed? or do I have to
renamed the .exe to .ex_ etc?

HI Goran -

You cannot edit the list, though you can turn the restriction off:

Choose Options | Preferences from the main menu.
Click the Security tab, and uncheck " Block restricted file types".

Some complementary to Mark's answer...

Groove user identities can be managed within a Groove domain (a
corporate/professional approach).
This requires deployment of Groove servers, or the use of Groove
Enterprise Services.

The administrator of a Groove domain can customize the list of blocked
files in the identity policies.

Hence, some specific file types can be allowed, whereas others may
remain blocked.
