Allowing infopath forms to be uploaded in production: deployment p

Do most companies allow infopath forms to be uploaded directly to production
server or do they need to go through a full test and development process.

What is the recommeded security level for allowing users to publish infopath
forms?

Are there security issues with executing the forms?

Should infopath be considered and treated as custom code?

InfoPath is using the IE security model.
As a general rule testing a product before going to production is allows
required...
