Allowing my project manager peers to see my projects

Hello,

I have a question regarding project-level visibility whihch I hope someone
can help me with.
Project managers in the organization I work for are stuctured into 2 groups,
X & Y. Each group consists of teams responsible for a particular business
function. Each team has a lead and consists of a number of project managers.
There are 2 things we are trying to accomplish:

A) We would like to be able to give project managers within the same team
access to see each other's projects.
B) We would like functional team leads to be able to see all projects in the
group they belong to.
The RBS rules currently allow visibility to projects:
1. managed by themselves
2. in which they team members
2. managed by resources reporting to them
4. in which their resources are team members
.... but there is nothing regarding equivalent to "My Team's Projects"

I'd would appreciate any help or pointers.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the RBS functionality does not presently allow peer
visibility. we have asked Microsoft to add this to the next version.

You can accomplish your user-access goal by setting up special Categories,
but you would have ongoing work to maintain the categories manually to
include the right projects, but you cannot automate it through the RBS.
