Allowing other to upload content???

I been requested to look into the possibility for others to have the chance
to upload certain content to my website. The site isn't really mine
personally, but up to now I've been the only one posting the content
(sometimes supplied by others).

What are the up sides, if any. The downsides. The correct way to set it up
(exactly how to do it).

All comments welcome.

If they have FP they can open the site online to edit it
- or publish to their PC, edit, and publish back to the server
If they don't have FP and try to FTP they will corrupt the FP SE
- you could set up a subweb that they can FTP to

If you want to main site look / layout look at a setting up a browser based CMS like Content Seed for them to use

Thanks Stefan, looks like this should work. I'll have to look into it to be
sure.
