Allowing team mebers to see only projects they are assigned to

I am trying to set up PS2003 to allow team members to see the projects that
they are assigned to. However, I do not want to create an administrative
nightmare in the process.

Based on the reading I have done, it appears that this is accomplished
through the use of the team member category. Yet to my befuddled mind it
appears that the "projects that members can view" section is set up
backwards. I would think that I should be able to click on all current and
future projects and then limit the list by clicking on the allow users in
this category to view all projects in which they are a team member checkbox.
However the documentation on this is as clear as mud.

Any help here, or an alternative method of accomplishing this will be
appreciated

Parker:

One way to do this is to create a new category: I'd call it something like
"My Org for Team Members" In this category, set permissions so that members
of the category can see projects to which they are assigned. Add the Team
Members group to the category and save. Viola, your team members should now
see all projects to which they're assigned.
