Allowing Users to Modify Start and Finish Dates

We would like for our project users to be able to modify the Start and Finish
dates from within the tasks panel of PWA. I have tried various fields through
Tools - Customer - Publish Fields and selecting "Let Resource Change Field".
I have also tried adjusting views with no success.

You are missing one step. After adding the Actual Start and Actual Finish
fields as Published fields in each project, you must click Collaborate -
Publish - Republish Assignments. Hope this helps.

Have tried that. The fields are now showing in the Time Sheet view but are
not editable.

Did you do these steps:

1. Add the Actual Start and Actual Finish fields as Published fields in
EVERY project
2. Click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments in EVERY project
3. Modify the Timesheet view to include these two fields

Let us know.

I tried it and it works for me. In Publish fields the field type is task or
assignment? I have task
