Alphabetical Sorting Problem (2nd try)

I would like to sort some text. The problem is on some lines I have an
underscore or a space before the word. Without removing that, which could
be time consuming, how can I get Word to sort the text and ignore the space
and/or underscore. Is there a way to do this?

Netguy,

If it is just a simple list of words with the preceeding underscore or
space, you can quickly eliminate those with a find and replace
(Edit>Replace). Type the _ in the find what and click in the replace with
and leave it blank. Hit replace all. To the same thing with a space.
