ALPHABETIZE PATIENTS

In a hospital laboratory setting with many patients that have standing orders, what would be the best software to put those patients in that would alphabatize and give, the doctors name, what tests they need and how often they need them? Secretaries would put the name in and call them up.

Due to the stakes involved, I would think you would get software that
has been specifically developed for this hospital laboratory setting.
Check your management and the IT department.

I've been doing the address list for the local horticultural society in
Excel for years - though I'm sure Access could be used to do a similar - or
better job.

MS Access is a good choice, if you have Office Pro. It can
do all this and more as the need to manage additional
information arises. If you have no experience with the
program, it has wizards to help you set up your project.
