Alphabetizing contacts.

I have a rather large address book now and find it
difficult to find names since some show as Last Name,
First Name and others as First Name Last Name. I have
gone to Tools, Options, Contact Options and changed the
format such that everything SHOULD be Last Name, First
Name, but it doesn't make a change. I have even gone in
individual records and made sure the "File As"
and "Display As" are both Last Name, First Name, but
again no change. Can anyone offer advice as to how this
can be fixed?
