Alphabetizing Folders

This is really weird

I have a group of about a dozen folders. The list appears alphabetized,
both in MyDocs|My Notebook and in ON itself when opening the folder menu on
the upper LH corner of the ON screen. With one exception. I recently added
a new folder, "Clients" appears correctly alphabetic order in MyDocs|My
Notebook, but not in the ON folder display, where it is way out of place. I
tried renaming it to AAA. Then it appears correctly at the head of the pack
in both places. But when I rename it back to "Clients", it's back in the
wrong place again.

What's the secret?

Not sure - they won't be moved around automatically within OneNote,
especially just by changing the name.

In Explorer, when you're looking at My Docs\My Notebook, depending on
your view and sort settings, you will see the folders then the section
files in alphabetical order.

Once a folder/section is in a certain place int he ON hierarchy it
doesn't get moved unless you manually move it to a certain position.

Long story short: manually move "Clients" to its proper place. OneNote
doesn't do any sorting automatically.

OK - but how do I do the manual move. If I click open the folder tree in
the ULH corner of ON, the folders don't seem moveable - on right click or
attempted drag.

Drag and drop the folder tabs on the right-side of the screen.

I really feel dumb - but on my screen's right side, there are only page tabs
for the section I'm viewing - no folder tabs. Is there some other view I
should be using?

Ah, sorry, no. To rearrange the folders you'll need to right-click the
folder tab at the top and choose "Move". I suspect this will be improved
in future versions.

Still dumb - the tabs across the top are for sections. I'm trying to
rearrange the folders. Is there some way to get to a folder display which
enables re-arranging?

Never Mind - I was confusing sections and folders - figured it out.
