Also need to change 1 slides theme

I am having the same problem. I own Mac OS 10.5.5 I am also trying to
change the theme on one slide only. Can't find any options to allow me to do
this.

I am working off of Office:mac 2008 Expression Media

This drove me crazy for a while until I accidentally discovered the solution.

1. Does the them already exist in the presentation? If so, DO NOT apply the them again. Apply the slide layout.

2. If the theme does NOT already exist in the presentation, duplicate the slide that you want to apply the theme to, then select both slides. Apply the theme, and delete the duplicate slide.
